Terms of Use — GovPaid

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using GovPaid — including our website, newsletter, community, and document library — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

GovPaid provides government contracting intelligence, including weekly newsletters, news articles, solicitation alerts, recompete tracking, community access via Discord, and a downloadable document library. All content published by GovPaid is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice, procurement advice, or any other form of professional advisory service. GovPaid is not affiliated with any federal agency.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

GovPaid offers both free and paid subscription tiers. The following terms apply to paid subscriptions:

Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis depending on the plan you selected at signup.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Acceptable Use

By using GovPaid, you agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access or harvest our content without written permission.
Redistribute, resell, or republish GovPaid content in any format without explicit written authorization.
Impersonate other users, GovPaid staff, or government officials in our community channels.
Post or share confidential government information, source selection materials, or procurement-sensitive data in our community.
Use GovPaid community channels for unsolicited commercial solicitation or spam.

Violations of these acceptable use terms may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, analysis, templates, reports, and creative works published by GovPaid are owned by GovPaid Inc and protected by applicable copyright law. Pro subscribers receive a personal, non-transferable license to use downloaded templates for their internal business purposes only. Sharing, sublicensing, or commercializing GovPaid content or templates is prohibited.

6. Disclaimer

GovPaid's content is based on publicly available government data, FOIA responses, court filings, and other open sources. While we strive for accuracy, GovPaid makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information we publish. We are not affiliated with any federal agency, and our content does not represent the official positions of any government entity.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GovPaid's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of our services is limited to the total amount you paid to GovPaid in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. GovPaid is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
